After a year hiatus, I am going to attempt a painting again. For all of you expecting a giant complex painting--don't. I'm going back to the basics. Literally its two wine bottles with a cloth. I'm going for realism and beauty. I think i want to perfect my skill before i do anything. I just started to get into some real skill in drawing so i want to try things.

update- major step for me today and i think i really am making progress in art. I finished the painting in about two hours. Where i started to paint it was gorgeous and well done but...i soon did that thing where i started to slap paint on the canvas. So...i whipped all of it away but the beautiful part and im letting it dry and i will go back to it when im fresh in the morning. I have never...well i have never actually fixed a mistake before. I generally would just say "well its done now. Not what i wanted but that one part is really nice" i want the whole thing to be nice....im really kinda shocked and excited.

Reallllly rough photos of my work from drawing I (arts 110) two more drawings to come. So, yeah this is what i have been up to. The drawings are alot better then the photos give them justice to be.

I had to do all my slides of AP art Exams so here is some of my new work. More will be updated AFTER my show on MAY 8!! Yes all you Carver Kids come to school I will be in the lobby to the right hand side. Its from 6 to 7:30 and its a beatnik coffee bar and war protest theme.

As we speak I am putting the watermarks and the borders on my Portraiture work to upload (Like Geisha?) They are all self-portraits at the moment. I am hoping to get a model soon but I have problems arranging the right people. I want someone who has somewhat the same look as me for my pics which is hard to find apparently. grrr...I guess I am just being picky.

Anyway, either today or tomorrow the portraits are going up. Also, I am gonna put up the link to my art page which is my friend's site and you can see some really good artists I know from there.

Yep. Arts is in the mail on Monday so I am test driving my titles and descriptions and all the fun stuff. So give me some love post some comments. This is the first time my portfolio will be all up. GO ME!!

I hope I get some good feedback. I am honestly nervous because no one has ever seen these before as a whole.
